CSR linked healthcare training and skill development program

Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL)

As we witness the latest increase in the demand of healthcare professionals across the globe, SFSAHS Academy, Mahad (Maharashtra) is the recent addition to our endeavor and MGL's (Mahanagar Gas Limited) CSR Instead: empowering the future of healthcare through the "School for Skills: Allied Health Sciences''. This involves training of 180 women as certified Allied Health Professionals in Raigad district, Maharashtra. Under this CSR program, specially women are provided with training in allied health sciences, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the healthcare workforce; thus contributing to women empowerment. An impressive milestone has been achieved by providing over 70% employment opportunities in different reputed hospitals locally as well as on a Pan India basis.

Western Coalfields Ltd. (WCL)

Under the CSR initiative of Western Coalfields Limited (Coal India Limited), the program aims to provide education and training of 60 youths in allied health sciences, contributing to the skill development and employment creation among individuals in the community. Most of the students have been placed in various reputed hospitals such as Ratna Memorial Hospital, Sahyadri Hospitals and so on.

The school boasts well equipped classrooms and laboratories (domain specific and computer laboratory). Renowned experts and seasoned professionals from the healthcare industry form the core faculty of the school and practical training lies at the heart of the school's pedagogical approach. We are currently providing GDA (General Duty Assistant) course to the students. We aim at unleashing their potential and empower them through advanced skill training and livelihood generation programs and also entitle them with the ability to earn a dignified living.

Apart from domain specific training, students are also being trained in basic English, computer usage, soft skills and communication skills. On completion of the course, our dedicated placement team will provide placement assistance to our students.
