Patients and their relatives visit hospitals and diagnostic centres in a state of anxiety about their illness and expense. They are also unaware of where to go, who to see, how are tests done, will the procedures be painful; and they have many other questions. A soothing approach, compassionate behaviour, helpful attitude and providing adequate and correct information are important requirements from a healthcare professional working in a non-technical capacity. As an HFDC, you will be the face of the institution, the first contact point for thousands of patients and your conduct will determine how well patients are treated and how your institution grows.
